A OLD STYLE AUSSIE PUB WITH THE CHARM THAT COMES FROM THE LOCALS HUB
In 2019 Open Projects Group began the shopfitting project at Commercial Hotel in the Brisbane Suburb of Redbank. This quirky locals pub with over a century of history is getting a fresh new look that will highlight the incredible community spirit it embodies.
The Bistro has been upgraded with retro look seating and wooden tables with rustic leather banquette seating. The seating area outside has been extended with a new roof.
The deck area outside the main bar is also getting new furniture complete with creative wall-art mirroring the history of the area in sheep-shearing and railway workers.
The main building itself it being repaired, given a fresh new paint palette, quirky lighting and new signage. The gaming room will also receive some designer attention.
The Commercial Hotel at Redbank, Ipswich, Brisbane is one of South East Queensland's best kept secrets. An iconic pub believed to have been established around 1910 weathering the test of time to stay true to its country pub roots.
