Greek Street Grill

Greek Street Grill

This is the 3rd Greek St venue we have got to be a part of for client Theo Kostoglou. But with this one he wanted a new fresh take on what we have done before. It had to work with the new centre “Gasworks” that it is part of and reflect the style of the Fortitude Valley where it is located. We wanted to bring the Mediterranean to the city. We did this with a blend of crisp whites, solid timber, hues of the ocean.

The walls are clad in a white brick panels, the ceilings a mix of blue and bulkheads lined with blue stainless steel that really make the neon sign pop! The floor is a transition where hex tile meets timber and is a fun contemporary feature. Yellow factory style pendants a splash of sunshine. There is a combination of lush blue velvet banquette seating, café tables and chairs and bar tables with stools for casual dining.

An important part of the brief from the client was the kitchen needed to be highly functional with good flow for efficient service. It is an open kitchen so patrons can clearly see their food being made fresh to order.
